Streaming Music in Your Car with the Motorola Atrix by Marvin Sangrios
The Motorola Atrix is a smart phone with so many great multimedia features and these features can be used pretty much anywhere. One area where users find it hard to take advantage of these features is within a car. Many users simply don’t know how to hook it up. One good news is that Motorola makes many different types of accessories beyond the basic screen protector and case. Actually, Motorola has many different accessories just for streaming audio in your car, and, if you’re lucky, you may even be able to take advantage of one of the techniques that don’t require anything additional at all.
The simplest way to listen to music from phone while in your car is to use the car speakers. There are many cars out there that already have Bluetooth capable speakers. The only thing you need to do to be able to use them is to select the car’s audio system in the menu and then select the track you wish to listen to. If your car does not have a Bluetooth capable system then the answer to your problems is an adapter. The most common adapters use an USB or an AUX jack connection, and this type of connectivity is how many of the hands-free in-car Atrix docking stations perform their magic.
Many old cars will not have a port for an USB or AUX jack connection. If you have a cassette player, however, you can use a Bluetooth cassette adapter. The way that this adapter works is by allowing the Bluetooth adapter part pick up the stream from your phone and then transfer it to the cars audio system.
Another simple way to be able to take advantage of your phones features is by using a Bluetooth Headset or earpiece. Most smart phone users already use these hands-free devices since it is required by many states. It is important to point out that many of the older Bluetooth earpieces do not have enough bandwidth support to transfer anything beyond a phone conversation. The Bluetooth headset you will need is one that supports A2DP which is an advanced form of audio distribution profile. You will experience a loss in quality through this method when you compare it to high quality headphones.
If you prefer not to use a headset while driving, Bluetooth speakers are a practical alternative. These speakers are usually inexpensive and have a mounting mechanism to keep your device safely put. As you see, there are many ways to stream music on your mobile phone, you only need to browse through different accessories until you find one that fits you.
